Sole is the Chief of Child Protection in India. She has worked for UNICEF and other agencies and organizations for the last fifteen years in four continents: Latin America, Africa, UNICEF Headquarters in New York, and now India. During her career, she has worked with UN and civic society organizations in a wide range of issues in the protection field, ranging from legal reforms, justice for children, ending violence, child marriage, or alternative care reform. In the areas of humanitarian action, she has coordinated programmes of demobilization of children from armed groups and coordinated emergency responses in Colombia, Great Lakes and Horn of Africa, including Sudan and South Sudan border region. Sole holds a Master on International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University, a LLM in Human Rights from University of London, and a Juris Doctorate and a Business Administration from ICADE (Spain).
