Sonal Kapoor is Founder Director, Protsahan India Foundation – an organization based in New Delhi, India, that works on bridging the gap in childcare systems by introducing an empathy-based system called the HEART model to heal childhood trauma and transform children facing adversity, to reach their full potential with access to education, healthcare and gender justice. She is an esteemed Ashoka Fellow, Vital Voices Fellow & World Bank Fellow. She has pursued Child Protection Law from National Law School of India University and Harvard University. She’s won several national and international honors in Child Welfare. Protsahan, under her leadership, has rescued over 948 girls and reaches out to more than 81,000 vulnerable children & adolescent girls every year through Arts and STEM based mainstreaming programs.
